- Laws of the time were seriously screwed up when it comes to Tamar & sleeping with her father in law, Judah. I can't imagine living in a society where it's okay, accepted, and expected for a woman to be passed from brother to brother like that, or even coerce their widower father in law into bed with the same results.
- Man, Joseph had it rough. First, shitty brothers, then a shitty Egyptian master. It's a wonder his faith stayed so strong through it all.
